i have woken this morning and have a bad feeling that i have Thrush, I used to suffer from this before i got pregnant so i suppose it was only a matter of time but how do i treat it? I normally take the oral tablet but i have had a look on the internet and it says not to take this if you are pregnant and to consult your doc but i can't wait until monday to see the doc, i need to start treating it now, apart from natural yogurt does anyone know if i can take anything else????

"Go to the doctors"
Posted by laura050685 14 October  at  00:05

hi, ive had this during my pregnancy
(apparently quite common!) if u see your doctor you can get this for free, i was treated with the pessary and cream! also, it might be an idea to treat your partner (if youve had sex!) as this can be passed! then it just gets passed back to u (viscious circle!) good luck!

Hi,
I now have a 3 month old son and also suffered with thrush during pregnancy. No you can not take the oral tablet but you can use the cream. That is what i used and it worked a treat. If you are unsure i would go to your nearest boots and ask at the pharmacy.

Hope this helps x x

you can use canesten cream and pessary i think it just depends on how far you are cuz if its less than 12 the doctor will give you a lower dose version but you can also get this from the chemist they have a new system where if its desperate and you cant get to the docs and its easy treat they will right you a perscription. dont worry.
