"Help- confused about feelings"

Hi there my name Katie and I am a student in my last year at university. Recently I have been feeling like I would like to get pregnant and have felt maternal as long as I can remember. I am 22 and I have 8 months left of my uni course. I need advice because I am finding it hard to tell my partner my feelings (he's nearly 25) and has a good job which has good finacial potential. Unfortuntly I am yet to start my career and although I am career minded I am also very keen on becoming a young mum. My partner and I have been together for just under 3 years and are living together whilst I am studying. I know my partner wants to become a daddy and has said he will 'let me know' when he is ready.. I think he knows that I am ready as i have been dropping hints like no other! I need advice on whether I am making a big mistake or whether I should talk to my partner/and how. I am so confused and I think alot of it comes from someone I know recently having a baby whislt at uni. Pls help

hey Katie,

if you've only got 8 months left on your course you'll soon have graduated, got a job and settled with your partner and then it could be a really good time to have a baby. You need to discuss it and be honest with him though! If you get pregnant now it could really complicate things and put extra strain on you and your partner. but in a year all this could happen! You're still only 22 so there's no need to worry about your chances of having a baby. You could concentrate on creating the right environment to give your baby the best start in life and that might keep you going until the time is right for both of you.

keep us posted won't you,
Josie
