but it will come when hes ready!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and thats a fact.

yes some ths such as sex, castor oil, pineapple, walking, curry, hot bath etc...
can work - but only if your baby is ready to come anyway.

enjoy your rest & time to yourself before your wee man comes. because when he arrives you will be wishing him back in - even for 1 nt so you can get some sleep!

good luck.

"Castor oil? don't try it!"
Posted by ellejaycee 22 October  at  16:47

Like you, Stacey, I thought Castor Oil would do the trick and have bought some ready but last week at ante-natal the midwife was talking about ways to bring on labour and she said that the other old wives tales (or are they?!) are fine to try, but don't try Castor Oil.

The reason is, it may lead the baby to have a little poo while still inside because of its laxative effects which, as we all know, may complicate the labour.

Good luck all!

My friend was going to use it with her little one before he was born in Jan and she was told about the problems it can lead to with the baby pooing etc.

so i personally would steer clear of it better to be safe than sorry is what i say.

good luck hun

"Pinapple"

Not that I am part of this forum - but three of my friends were in the same situation and all ate pinapple! They swear that is what brought the labour on! Worth a try.

Heya hun,

im lucky as i never managed to go over my due date with either of my previous 3 pregnancies, but with my 3rd pregnancy it was two days after my birthday and i was 37 weeks pregnant and Salt 'n' pepper's "PUSH IT" came on the radio, so i got up and danced through the entire song, i looked like a pregnant penguin trying to pull of my very unsexy moves but it worked as 1am the next morning i went into labour and he was born 1 hour and 20 mins later.

good luck with everything hun, let us know how it all goes
Much love

my bf had got really fed up of me i went 9 days over and so when he asked go watch the footy i thort he deserved it putting up with my moaning. so he gave me his mobi i had no cred and off he went with his mates after about 20 mins i got a message sayin "ill be there soon running late x" i thort nothing of it but 2 hours later i got another saying " had a wicked time wish shed hurry up and have the baby so we can get back to normal, love you x sarahx" i went mad tried ring his mates mobi no answer got myself in a right state my stomach was hurting and by the time they turned up i was screaming, my waters went and i was doubled over in pain. then i realised his mates were laughing. it had all been a prank to get me wound up and start things off, its quite funny looking back and it did work i had him that night. I tried everything but nothing worked. good luck.
