All the way through my pregancy i have used mother goose stretch mark butter which is available at superdrug. It is not that expensive which is gd as it has worked wanders at fading and reducing stretch marks!
I would fully recommend it!

from boots at less than £4.00 in a pot. i use it since the beginning of my pregnancy and no marks at all. i put some on my nipples also, heard that it is good to do that. Good luck, C. 40 (who is supposed to give birth today but nothing is pointing, baby still wants to stay inside, grrr)

"Bio-oil" Posted by emiliedlondres 24 September at 17:09
Hi, I am now 30 weeks pregant and zero strechmarks! I am using Bio-oil twice a day . You can find it at the chemist and it costs less than £10. When you apply it, don't put too much of it and do a little massage. And I think its best to start now like that your skin become more supple from the beginning.
Good luck for your pregnancy! Emilie

"Don't put on too much weight..." Posted by sarahlharrison 8 March at 20:31
The best advice I have had is not to put on too much weight generally. There is apparently little you can do to prevent stretch marks and the best indicator of whether you will get them is your mother and grandmothers. Do they have them? My friend is 38 weeks with her second with no stretch marks with the first and loads with the second and she did nothing different at all. I think that you can get good creams to help them fade after and most people get a few.

using an anti-stretchmarks cream right from the beginning of my pregnancy (I use it on my chest, tummy and hips). I use a cream called "Rilastil", which I buy at the chemist, but I live in Italy and I don't know if it is available in the UK. Almond oil is also very hydrating and great for preventing stretchmarks.

"None" Posted by magroo 6 March at 18:38
I'm nearly 31 weeks pregnant and I do not have any stretchmarks and my stomach is really big. I have been using a cream from Aventi called indulgent body cream. I have used it twice every day since I found out I was pregnant and it has worked for me! Good luck

"Depends on the individual" Posted by oddgirl2 18 March at 19:53
im 41+1 today and im huge unfortunatly i am covered in stretch marks, i have used creams like cocoa butter and aventi indulgent body cream since the start of my pregnancy. i think it just depends on wether ur lucky enough to have skin that dosnt mind stretching so much, if your going to get them your going to get them no matter what creams u use, ive now started to use bio oil as thats ment to reduce scars aswell as stretch marks hope it works
