I read that when coming off the pill to get pregnant, it is best to wait at least until you've had your 1st TRUE period and better still to wait 3 months before trying if tou can as your lining is thicker then. So on this information i stopped taking the pill over a month ago and we planned to use condoms until christmas before properly trying for a baby. On Sunday, yes....the day before yesterday!! one thing led to another & it was too late to reach for the condom! Since then ( for the last 2 days )i have been having phases where suddenly i feel very sick & get a watery taste in my mouth like im going to be sick & its off & on all day long, i also have sharp shooting pains in the lower part of my tummy now & again & nothing is tasting normal! I couldnt possibly be pregnant & showing signs already could I! Even before a missed period & after conceiving 2 days ago ( if thats the case?! ) Has anyone else ever experienced anything similar? If so appreciate any advice!! Thanks x

hi i'm louanna and i'm in the same situation, the only diffrence is i dont want a child because i'm only 15 and in my last year in highschool. i hope 'm not but if i am i dont know what to do. My boyfriend used a condom and i dont think it split, and we had sex the day aftr my period had finished so i dont know how i can be. i just need some advice and to see if i really am, so i can stop worrying and focus on my GCSE's.

well 2 days ago i staied up till 2:30 out of boredom and woke up at 2-3 hours later shaking, so i curled up in my blankets to get worm, well i stared sweting and shaking, and when i tried to stop shaking and i felt like i had to throw up, then the shaking went away and i felt the need to throw up, i havent yet but that feeling lasted till 5-6 hours later. i was playing with my lil sister and the same thing happened again but not as bad, i think it might be morning sickness, idk but my lower back is killing me, my lower tummy hurst and i just got my wisdom teeth pulled today and the nurse injected a staroid in me and my lower stomach stared burning and itching to the point were i was squerming around, im nervouse that something could have happened to the baby if i am pregnate :[ but i took a test this morning and it said negitive, i think i might have took it to early, but i have irregular periods and idk when my next one is supost to be but this took place 2 days after i got off of it, also ive been getting head aches and my chest have been haveing growing pains, well that what it feels like, idk if thats what it is or if it has anything to fo with it but if someone can please tell me if you think i am :[ and if anyone has any information about the staroid thing please let me know :[ i would really appreciate it :[

I am pregnant with my 2nd child, and I knew before my period was due that I was. I was having evening sickness just like with my 1st one. So I went saw a independant midwife and got a blood test as they are far more acurate than the over the counter tests, it picked up that I was pregnant 2 weeks before my period was due. I'm sure a doctor could arrange it too, if you asked or an STD clinic...

I been off the pill for about 3 months now and i had sex 4 days ago. I have been feeling sick since then. my stomach has been hurting like i need to throw up but havent yet. I been getting dizzy latly too. I dont have any kids but my body is doing something different and so is yours im not sure if im pregnant i would like to know right now myself but give it about 2 more weeks and if you still feel the same take the test thats what im going to do.

With my 1st i was constantly running to loo and got a funny taste in mouth, took a test early and was neg took a test 2 days later and i was preg!! Didnt realise until after i got a positive test, but with my second, i new, from about a wk after conception. I'm now a bit concerned as i have been running to loo, been feeling really thirsty with funny taste in mouth and the odd shooting pain in tummy after not being careful on sunday, must have been something in the air lol!

im 16 years old and i need help.Me and my boyfriend had sex for the 1st time with out a condom on january 11 6 days after my period was done.He pulled out two times but a day later i felt different in my stomach.i been feeling sick in my stomach and have small lower back pains.At night i awake because i feel sick as if i cant sleep on my stomach.I had sharp pains in my chest.I always feel empty more then i ever have.The pains that i been having has been off and on for a week and a day.A doctor told me that i should be having my next period on the 28th of this month.Can anyone please help me.I need help.Thank you

I woke up the other moring and was sick for two hours before I did get sick and everyday after that I 've been feeling sick having morning sickness all day. I have also been experiencing pains in my lower belly. In the morning though sometimes I don't have an apitite, then later in the day I would be so hungry and I eat anyhting now. Well i kind of thought i was pregnant 2 weeks ago (been trying in since october)i felt fat heavy and well just pregnant, so idecided to wait for my period to check before doing a test, meanwhile on the weekend i came on my piriod, i was gutted but tought theres plenty more sperm!! anyway i was on for about a day to a day n half, and found it wierd not only was my period early but it stoped, help could i be pregnant or still pregnant or just have irregular periods? help soon please someone reply!!

i didnt have my september injection as we wanted to try for children. My ,periods returned on 22nd December and have been regular every month (on or around the 20th) i have been using ovulation testers and testing for pregnancy each month, to no avail.... except this month. i am not due on until friday 20th but iv done a pregnancy test and its possitive!!! im 4 wks and 1 day pregnant xx

Hi, i'm 25 and trying for a baby. i had an ectopic pregnancy 7months ago and am desperate to conceive again. i had a positive ovulation test 14 days ago and my husband and i have had regular intercourse most days since. only for the last 6-7 days i have been experiencing symptoms of early pregnancy. i feel very queezy, especially at the smell of certain foods. i also have slighly darkened areola's with tender breasts. and for the past 4 days i have been urinating approx 12 to 15 times through the day. i have checked these symptoms on the net and appear to be ticking all the boxes for being pregnant. i did a urine test this morning and it came up negative. is it possible for me to get symptoms even before a test can detect the hcg??? or does it sound as if i'm just convincing myself the slightest changes are due to pregnancy. i feel silly asking but it's all i can think about. any advice or comments would be really appreciated.

It happened to me! I came off the pill on Oct 20th as I wanted to have a break. I had my "pill" period on the 24th Oct. I then discoved at the end of December that I was pregnant, I had my scan and they said I had conceived him on the 14th November!

Now I am worried though, will there be any problems with my pregnancy? They never said anything when I went for either scan.

You know I am going through the same thing, I am wondering if I am pregnant before my missed period also. I keep having sharp pains in my lower stomach also, and I wonder is this signs of pregnancy or am I getting ready to start. I have know clue but, I totally understand what you are going through!
