Hey - this is exactly what happened to me, I started having contractions (my baby was posterior so felt them more in my bum & back area) on the Saturday, by midnight SAt they were 5 mins apart for 6 hours, settled on Sunday to about 8 - 15 mins apart, then lasted all through Sunday night and Monday. I gave birth on Tuesday - sounds like your in early labour to me - good luck with everything!!!

Heya hun,

it sure sounds like it to me, if needs be call the labour ward/midwife and see what they say,my midwife always said to me have a bath and see what happens...by the end of all 3 of mine i hated hearing the words "have a bath" but it did help cos eveytime i had pains i would jump in and they would stop, only if it's real labour will they continue...if that makes sense.

anyway hun good luck we will all be waiting to hear what happens.

much love

Hiya,

I've never been in labour so I cant tell you anything from my point of view but it definately sounds like it's all started... I'm sure you have already, but have you spoken to your midwife or to the labour unit cos they'll be able to tell you what's going on and what you need to be doing

But it sounds like it's not gonna be much longer before you get to meet your new lil baby... congrats and tonnes of good luck...let us know how it goes...

Fingers crossed
Take care
