" only 1 blood test?"
Posted by sweetmamma 2 November  at  15:09

Hi everyone,

I am 16 Weeks nearly 17 and the only blood test I had was when I was 12 weeks pregnant! I was offered the triple test, but prefered to go private and have a combined test (nuchal scan and blood test). So I had a blood test then, otherwise, it's only one, except if you want to do the triple test!

I asked about the lucozade test, but she said I didn't have diabetes cases in the family, so I didn't need one?!!

What about you?

If you have medical coverage or the money go for gold. I personally felt better having all the posible test done and told my dr that.

I had blood tests at 16 weeks and 28 weeks which is normal for the UK unless you have additional problems during your pregnancy. Hope all is going well for you

That means the midwife I saw yesterday didn't know what she was talking about..
For my second pregnancy, I'm quite sure I did have a blood test around 28 weeks... well we'll see, thank you for your reply!
