My baby- Brooke was born by c-section but emergency as she was wedged and her heart beat went etc, I was n and out of consciousness. But, I believe you'll go into hospital have a cuppa, speak to a few people, ie get prepared, get into you robe and dressing gown/whatever abd then you'll go to the operating theatre where you will lay down on your side and be given a local anesthetic followed by the epidural, you will then be layed on our back and probably sprayed from tummy to chin with cool waer to ensure you are numb, when you only start to feel the spray around your baabs the c-section itself will begin, a bikini line incision, and there will be your beautiful baby boy. Also have you heard about the natural ceasarian, if the c-section is due to a breech bith it is not an option, but in most other cases it is. This is my choice, as the baby is brought out, they hold it half in/half out to represent the baby only having it's heab and neck through the vagina, allowing the babies throat to be cleared, it is as close to a natural birth as you can get, you can also watch if that's you kind of thing. Speak to your midwife to see if it's an option if you're interested. I hope this has calmed you a bit, and anyway, don't worry, they'll look after you. xx Hope all goes well, come on and tell us what he weighs xxx
