"Positive prenancy tests"

I have done two home pregnancy tests which both came up positive, i have my doctors appointment tommorrow but i am worried that i might be wasting time. i think i have had a small bleed this morning.

I missed my period last month so i would only be a few weeks pregnant.

I have read that spotting is common during the first few weeks, is there anyone who can tell me anything else.

Does anyone know the chances of having two positive tests and them being wrong.

First of all your doctor well take a test when you get there and yes it's can happen that both test came out postive and can be worng. You can spotting the first few weeks into your pregnancy but not all people do.
When I got pregnant with my my girl which is going to be 1 soon I was bleeding like I just had a baby. I had 1 positive test and 1 native test I went to the doctor and I was not pregnant but because I was bleeding so hard I had to go back a week later, the doctor did pregnancy test and that one was positive. so even know i was still spotting I was still pregnant. So go to you appointment and see anything can happen. I maybe pregnant again.
Good luck

hi ya mate.... first of all dont panic.... this will be my first baby.... i am roughly 6 weeks prgnant... when i was 4 weeks gone i started bleeding... not spotting but proper heavy bleeding.... it was horrible... clotty and just like being on a period... i thought i had lost my baby... my partner was away on work so his mum came and took me to the hospital... of corse i had already done pregnancy tests before so i knew i was prgnant... so any way, they had to do another test to make sure the baby is still alive... and about an hour later it came back positive.... but if your bleeding even a small amount then take things easy and don't lift heavy objects or doing anything lkie hoovering as it pulls on your stomach muscles.... you can have tests that say that your not pregnant when really you are.. what test was it you used?... if it is a cheapy kinda one then get the clear blue as they are more accurate than any other.... keep me up dated on how you get on... here if you wanna talk... my msn address is...

I done a pregnancy test because I missed my period and sure enough I pregnant. I didn't want to go to the doctor's but did. I had a panic attack before I seen him. I thought that it might come back negative, my partner and I had been trying for about a year.
"Congratulation!"

So, how are you feeling?

I'd definately go to the doctor's just to make sure though. I had a friend who carried on having 'periods' until she was about six months pregnant, I think it sometimes happens.

Apparently you can get false negative results but not false positive results with home pregnancy tests. Looks like your pregnant and congratulations it's a great feeling! Blood spotting can be very common during the first few month especially if you have not long came off the pill. Best to get yourself checked out and don't worry about wasting your G P's time this is what he is there for. I' m sure he'll agree with me, good luck and let us know how you get on! XXXX

Firstly congratulation! i dont think you can have two tests positive and them being wrong.
You said that you bleed a little this morning? and what after? did it stop? are you a soar belly? if not, just take it easy, relax and lye down so that you wont make your belly working and that can help.
You have some women who still bleed during their pregnancy each time they were suppose to have their period.
If you were in France, i would advice you to go and ask for a blood test so that you know exactly if you are pregnant or not but, unfortunately, it doesnt work like that here so, wait for tomorrow to see your GP or, and believe me, it can help, buy a third test, just to check. I am pregnant, 15 weeks now but because my pregnancy was without morning sickness and i was fine, after having done 2 tests, a few weeks after i did a 3rd one!!!
Good luck and come back to let us know what happen.
