hiya.. hope you are enjoying motherhood. just a quick question....
did you feel any different before you went into labour?
when i was around 33-35wks i couldnt get off the toilet (sorry if tmi!!) i was very loose and i was having diahorrea type stomach cramps. anyway it calmed down for about a week and now for the last few days its started again. i mentioned it to the midwife yesterday and she said it was my body clearing out for labour. also i have been having quite bad stomach cramps and back ache on and off... and today i just dont feel myself... i feel quite sick, i havent got a appetite at all, already been to the toilet a number of times and i am sooooo tired (i havent been able to sleep since saturday night cos of stomach pains).
i still have just over 2wks. i am so sick of being pregnant and feeling like poo. sorry this is a long one!

I also had my bubba 6 weeks ago, I had a long pre labour and it also felt like trapped wind for 2 days...I just wanted to sit on the toilet but nothing was coming out..so thought I might be constipated so took laxative (natural) that just gave me the runs the next day...my labour pains were in the lower back and bum by the time I was 8cm I felt like I had a bowling ball in my bottom...epidural PALEASE!!!!
Let us know!

All four of mine were born prem, the last at 34 weeks i was in slow labour with, i had stomach cramps for over a week, and felt really sick and exhausted with it. With all four immediatly before, I had sickness and diarria throughout the night, leading to severe stomach cramps, which then turned out to be contractions. With this one i've made it so far to 34 weeks, Have been having some painfull braxton hicks but nothing too regular, I have felt sick the last two days, so thinking it wont be to long now. The head has been down for about 5 weeks now and is only 1/5 engaged. You should know that some contractions last longer than others, and the time between them can vary, mine didnt seem to have a gap as such inbetween each one, it was more like a continues stomache cramp with back ache that got stronger and eased off. It sounds to me like you are in slow labour and i think contractions will probably start in the next day or so. If the pain gets worse you should phone you midwife or the delivery suit for advice, they will probably have you in for monitoring, If you are in slow labour they may break your waters to speed things up a bit. You may actually be in labour but only having mild contractions that are not strong enough to be doing anything. With all mine they were born with in an hour of my waters being broken. Let me know how you get on and sorry for the long reply. gina

I had my little boy 6 weeks ago tomorrow and to be honest the only thing I think I noticed was feeling abit sick and I seemed really shattered all the time (even more so now! lol)
It can be quite hard, but try to enjoy these last few weeks of your baby being all your own...even though I love my boy to bits I do miss those quiet little moments when I was pregnant with him.
Take care - it won't be long!
Ellie x
