"Why haven't i got sore boobs?"
Posted by mum2be 20 November  at  18:36

Hey all, this is my first post. I just found out I was expecting and I am 5 weeks gone (yey!)
I just wanted to know when do your boobs start getting sore? My sister (who is 11 weeks pregnant) said hers started at about 5 weeks. I was pregnant before (but sadly miscarried) and my boobs hurt from about 5 weeks too.
I am a little concerned because I am not sore even a little bit? Am I lucky or should I be concerned?
Thanks for any advice

"Boobs aren't sore"

5 weeks pregnant and even though I missed my period I swore I wasn't pregnant because I didn't have sore boobs. In fact, my only symptom is a headache, mild stomach cramps and slight fatigue. I'm hoping I'm either lucky or they'll hurt later.

welcome! i love coming on here! am 8 weeks pregnant now, erm all i can tell u is that my first hint i could be is that my nipples were quite sore, but my actual boobs werent! they r now, they really are sore but i met my best friend over the weekend who had a baby girl 2 yrs ago and she said that hers did not hurt in the slightest until about 4 months,,,, so i guess everyone is different and i really wouldnt worry! r u excited? did u do loads of tests?
"Thanks"

until you can relax. I hope it is all going well!
We planned this baby. Have been married 5 years and would really like to have a family.
Feeling down today because I don't seem to have any early pregnancy symptoms at all (apart from a missed period). I am off to Drs in a minute to try and ease my mind.
When do symptoms present?
"Hey you"

i was exactly the same as u gutted as i didnt have any symptoms until i would say i was about 6 weeks gona when they hit me, it also made it worse when i started bledding i was utterly convinced that the baby had gone... but no.. 2 scans now and he (sure its a he!) is fine! then came the nausea, some days it was awful, my nipples hurt from day one but its only recently my actual boobs have began to hurt! be patient read some other forums some ppl never get any symptoms! let me know how u go at docs
"Hola!"

Well doctor says I shouldn't worry! He thinks it is too early on to have symptoms, and every pregnancy is different. He made me give a sample anyways to reassure me, but have to wait 5 days for the result!!!!!!!
I still went and bought another 4 pregnancy tests to make sure. Did one when I got in, says positive.
Will take the other three whilst waiting for an eternity for the doctor's results.
Glad to hear your baby was ok, even though you were bleeding. That must have been frightening!

Hello

Im new to this site - and I can sympathise with you. I miscarried too and my partner and I feel ready to try again, and thats all I can think about!!! The thing is though I remember last time very early on that my breasts felt so painful I could hardly lie on them - and we've been trying this month but Im due on Monday and they dont hurt at all. So Im thinking its a no this month!

Im glad your doc said every pregnancy is different as you never know!!!! fingers crossed.
