We want this baby so much and want it to be true the doctor says that they are not wrong so he is carrying on as if we are but i just am really worried. I am very sick and knackered all the time....please can you help me. linzi xx

Heya Linzi,

like the other ladies said you can not get a false positive, i had 9 BFN's with my first before i got my positive, and i didn't know if i should believe it either, but the DR said it to me and lo and behold i now have a 7 year old daughter to prove it...so HUGE GRATS on the BFP what an amazing start to the new year, go put your feet up and enjoy the next 8-9 months
much love

i'm not 100% sure but i dont think you can get a false positive, so if its positive you probably are pregnant. pregnancy test work by detecting the pregnancy hormone hcg, which will only appear if yor pregnant. when was your period due? try waiting until your a week late befroe testing again or see you doctor as they have more sensitive tests.

good luck, let us know how you get on
