Heya Guys,
Im having a really hard time at the moment with my emotions... Im just over 21 weeks pregnant and am feeling really down in the dumps. I cant stop crying! To cut a long story short - my partner is from the same place as me, but is currently studying in the US. Even though i get to see himquite a bit still, i still miss him greatly... He graduates in March next year, so will be back for good in time for the baby - (good timing!) - and he is back for 6 weeks over xmas.(cant wait!) He is doing the best thing for all of us and our futures, being there and getting his degree, however im feeling so lonely without him. The worst thing is that im now starting to take it out on him, and resent him for being away and leaving me on my own.... even though its not his fault - (it was my decision for him to stay there) He is being amazing with me, which makes me feel worse! As i am so nasty to him at times...
How can i stop this? When im having an 'episode', i feel so justified, then feel so terrible after... Is this normal? And if so how can i prevent it, and when will it stop?? - Im never normally moody! I hate it!
Any advice would be greatly appriciated.
Thanks xx

I am exactly the same - I know what you mean - at the time of the 'episode' you are sooooo right, then after you feel like the worst thing ever. But hey! you are growing something inside that it taking complete control over your body and feelings - dont beat yourself up about it - Its not long til march and then you can start to get some 'normality' back to your relationship - it must be really really hard. My hubby wnet away on a trek when my son was born at 8 wks - it was my decision for him to still go but then when he got back (from Africa - so no comms whilst away) I just used it in every argument etc. But honestly - you will forget about this time when the baby's born so just take care right now and make sure you relax (something I'm finding hard right now having given up fags 3 mths b4 pregnant - and no wine now its just torture!) men have no idea!

unfortunatly its one of the joys off being pregnant, not much you can do really exept just try not to get to wound up so your blood preasure doesnt shoot up, you could try camomile tea to calm you a bit,a warm soak in the bath and chocolate with a funny film on! hope you feel better soon!xx
