Hiya, can anyone help. Ive had a really bad urine infection and my GP has prescribed cefalexine tablets. Has anyone taken or are taking them.

i had a water infection and the doctor prescribed the same antibiotics to me aswell. i was worried coz the minute they metioned infection i paniced but they cleared it up a treat. youve got nothing to worry about you and your baby will be fine. xxxx

I have also been prescribed the same tablets ! I was told there is no risk to the baby and if left untreated gthe bacteria can kill the baby so we have to take them. I also looked online and these are commonly prescribed during pregnancy as urine infections are common.

I was worried too so know what its like but please dont - everything will be fine. I am 14 weeks gone, no bump yet - what about you ?

Hiya Louise, thanks for your reply. Im having most symptoms, sore boobs, big boobs, tired, sickness, hunger. I have had some stomach pains and back ache but thats normal for me. Im due on the 30t June. Its mine and my husbands first baby so where really excited. My belly is starting to grow, im starting to look fat! My scan i on the 20th December. How about you?
