not everyone loses there show before you go into labour. i was getting pains for weeks before i went into labour it could be just bad braxton hicks or early labour. you will only know if its labour if the pains are regular and dont ease off when you walk around. so i would try timing them.

as for sticky discharge i was losing this for 3days before i went into labour. it may be the start of your show but it can re grow. the night before labour started i lost some blood. if it has blood in it then they say labour can start in the ext 24/48hours.

when do you see the midwife? she can check your urine to see if its your waters. your waters is a yellowy colour. they say you can lose something called your for waters.

i hope this helps a little. if your concerned then ring your midwife to put your mind at ease.

well basically anything goes when labour starts yes you can loose your waters slowly or in a gush etc my forewaters then hind waters went 3 days appart with my 1st baby no show nothing just waters then contractions with 2nd i was induced don;t knwo if it made a difference but i had contractions then lost my bloody pplug then waters broke then baby, if your having tightenings and walking or a warm bath doesn;t help them ease off and they get stronger i would say your in very early labour if you need reassuring just speak to your midwife and she;ll probably send you to be monitored they will deffo let you know good luck and take care xxx
