After I had sex, I sat down on the edge of my bed and noticed some pinkish blood. It wasnt deep red, just pink. Also when I went to the toilet and wiped myself there was a tiny bit on there & there is some in my knickers too.

I am 36 weeks pregnant. Has anybody else experienced this and what do you think I should do. It seems a bit silly to call midwife at such early hours in the morning & I dont think the doctors is open on a Saturday.

If anyone can give me any advise or anything, it would be much appreciated. Thanx

personally think be all fine.

i went hospital at 36wk after sex and had proper red blood coming out, and i had all checks and what not, and the nurses/mw told me theirs little sacks on your cervix which can pop and they realse blood, and its perfectly fine and normal to happen.

ive even been told by my mw aswell if have blood after sex it is fine

but obviously if your worried and need the docs/mw reasurance then ring them up

Heya Hannah hun,

It could be abrasion from having sex, it could be part of your show (was there any jelly like mucus with it?)best to get it checked out though hunni, better to be safe than sorry, maybe just call your midwife o local day unit and talk to them they will be able to reassure you more.

hope it all works out okay keep us informed
much love
Leitia xx

The doctors should be open on a saturday, i think its better to get these things checked out instead of worrying and waiting to see if there is more redness.Good luck
