hi all , i thought i let you all know about ways to try an make labour easier , with my first son my labour was 24 hours an eventually rushed into theatre and i had a horendous forceps delivery -the pain was horrible .
i got pregnant again when he was 12 weeks ! glutten for punishment i know but after seeing my consultant she told me i probably woul tear badly ??????????????? scared couldnt even describe it lol ..
i searched the internet and came across this herbalist lady who does perineum oil in a rollerball because id read this stops tearing and make birthing the head easier and my son was born naturally after 4 -yip 4 hours not one tear or cut to my name !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the lady used to be under lee-angelis -i ha to trawl my email adresses but she advises she still does the product so ...... take a look honestly it works

put some vitamin E oil or pure vegetable oil on your fingers and thumbs and around your perineum. Place your thumbs about 3cm inside your vagina and press downward and sideways gently until you feel a slight tingling. Hold this stretch for about two minutes. Now gently massage the lower part of your vaginal canal back and forth for about three minutes. When you are in labour you can try perineal massage and warm compresses to relax your vaginal muscles.
it is best to start doing this at about 34 weeks but i was doing it from about 30 weeks with all of mine.
hope it helps hun xx

For putting this up, i am currently 38 weeks pregnant with my 4th and i have very fast labours and i massaged my perinium with all 4 and i havn't torn yet (fingers crossed for this time) and any product that makes doing a perinial massage easier is a winner in my eyes.
Im glad your second labour was easier.much love Leitia xx
