"Senokot hi fibre drinks"

Hi there
I know exactly how you feel. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I suffered both times before, so much so I got piles before both times. Don't want THEM back thank you very much. However these senokot hi fibre drinks do seem to do the trick for me. I think eating prunes works for most people but send me the other way (running to the loo) so go easy on them. Prune juice also should work but I've been trying that and found it not as effective as the hi fibre drinks. If you're really suffering your doc or midwife really should help you out.
Must go to meeting
Hope that's of some help

..drinking more water. I uped my intake of diluted orange/juice and have bran flakes with extra all bran sprinkled on in the morning - no wonder I have a wind problem!lol Worth a go!

Lol, with having Crohns disease this is one problem I dont have to worry about yeyy!! Saying that I do, just now I only go twice a day instead of 15 LOL (oops tmi).

Right well things like pure juices work, like apple or orange juice? And try eating things like soups instead of solid type food.

Hope it sorts itself soon.

Take Care, Lu xx

Hi Chelsea,

I had this a few weeks ago, i went nuts on the fruit, apples, melons, grapes (red&white), clementines, prunes and bananas.

Hope that helps hun, its either that or ask the pharmacist about over the counter relief.

Sorry i cannot be of more help hun, good luck

works every time for me, so they might be worth a try. Mind you watch out as the last time I was constipated and had them I ended up with the runs....can't win eh!

Good luck
