"I was the same.." Posted by haylez717 7 February at 15:41
when i was pregnant came down with horrible cold and told i could take nothing. The only thing i can recommend besides getting the oh to wait on you hand and foot is to boil som hot water and put it in a bowl with some Vicks and leave in the room you are in, it circulates the air and will clear your chest ( infact just used this remedy with the little one as he has come down with cold)
take care haylez and 4wk 2day baby Finlay xx

"Cold" Posted by rachaelbigbaby 7 February at 14:36
I've had a cold, which is just clearing up, I opted to avoid paracetamol even with the slight ear ache the other day, so I've drank honey and lemon and drank lots and lots of water to flush it through my body and used those olbas oil tissues (love the smell)....no help unfortunatly, just get some rest thats all I could suggest other than what you've tried.
Hope you feel better soon.
Rachael (34 + 6) xxxx

"Honey and lemon?" Posted by hopeful9 7 February at 14:13
I found it doesn't really do much good but makes you feel like you're having something. There's a fortune to be made there somewhere if someone does invent a cold remedy for the pregnant! Hope you get well soon, it is totally miserable being ill and preg.
