I've got the same thing, was totally relaxed at first but the last couple of weeks, particularly since the baby has been kicking a lot suddenly it's all very, very real! Started thinking 'am I going to be a good mother?' and all sorts along those lines. I'm hoping the happy, relaxed hormones kick back in soon!

I've just had a look at my online bank account and nearly dropped, plus I've just got a call from the mechanic who is servicing my car today and have been told that it will cost me £780 to get the car through it's MOT this call was promptly followed by an call to by OH with me in a mad panic! lol
With only just over 2 weeks to go I'm starting to freak out when I let myself think about it so I know how you all feel.
Try to remember that all a baby really really needs is it's mummy and at the end of the day that will cost us nothing, the other stuff is just nice to have!
We will find a way to cope.....trust me!

first of all take a nice deep breathe and calm down, you dont want to stress out little one! Everything always looks a lot better once you have had a deep breath and calmed down!LOL
i know things will seem all hetic at the moment but everything will calm down and i am sure you will sort things out eventually. I am also at university and had to complete some major assignments when i was pregnant but you just get through it just try and remain calm.
I cant help you with your money worries How come you have to be out of your flat in 5weeks if you dont mind me asking? If you are really struggling finding somewhere to live, get in touch with your council and see if they can provide you with some accomodation. If not, seek out a nice relative to stay with until you are sorted.
And dont panic about not having much for the baby, i had nothing until i was 36weeks gone, bar a few clothes and a moses basket. And trust me when the little bundle arrives, everyone and their granny will be buying you stuff, i got so mamny clothes have no where to put them all! lol
try to relax and i am sure everything will work out, just drop me a message if you need another rant! and just think, in a few months you will have a gorgeous baby girl in your arms!

pheewww!!! Im so glad its not only me that has these outbursts!!! haha! I just put it down to these hormones again!
We have to be out as we can no longer afford the rent here and we are living in a one bed flat on the 4th floor, woth no lift! so not really practical!
I did contact the council in desperation and they told me i had no housing need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a joke! she said until the baby is born and until we are homeless basically, they wont consider our application! makes me so mad!
Thanks once again for all your kind words! I think i would go insane without you lot!

Me too hun! i know exactly how you feel. It has only occured to me over the past few days that in 18 weeks or less i will have a baby to look after... One second im excited and think i cant wait and that money ect will sort itself out then it dawns on me that, like you am doing a degree and have loads of work appearing out of no where, have no money, and nowhere to live exactly 5 days after the babys due date!!! aaaaggggghhhhh, and my partner hasnt got a job yet so we cant get income support or any of the things we need in order to qualify for the materity grant.
My mood is all over the place when it comes to the practical stuff like money, but when i think about the baby and only baby....i cant wait! eeeek i wish i could meet him now!
sorry for the irratic rant
