I had ectopic 2 weeks ago.

hi any one had ectopic, i went to hospital with bad pains, they told me i was pregnant which i did not no. doc said it could be an ectopic but just took blood test as a had not missed a period yet days went by with repeated blood test as my hcg levels did not double every other day they called me back for a scan, no signs of anything in womb or tubes, so i was told i was having a misscarrage, so went home every thing was ok but home test still show positive, one week ater scan yet 2 weeks after being rushed in i started with the pain again and bleeding.went back to hospital i was in 2 days before i got another scan still did not c anything on scan but she saw fluid on my pelvis, after all this she decided to do an internal scan (which i think should of been done 2 weeks prior to this) and found somthing 1.5 cm in my tube, anyway turns out i was 6 weeks ectopic and the fluid on my pelvis turned out to be blood, ended up having my left tube out.. im so devastated and scared i wont be able to have kids that i really want in the future im only 23 i was on the pill. i feel i want a baby so nuch now dispite this pregnancy not being planned... im getting married in two years, i really want to no if i can get preg again . i wanted to wait till after the wedding but that is 2 years off and then i still might not get caught then,,, so im not taking my pill now ill just lat god decide,, ot been 2 weeks now since my opp i wonder my periods will start again normal,, sorry for the long s a,,, im just worried and need to get it off my back

i had a eptopic in aug 06.like you i didnt no i hadnt missed my period.i thought i was constipated and thats were the pains came from but i left it 2 days and after taking laxitifs i went the walk in center.were they told me i was preg....they rang me an ambulance .thwey took me to the hospital and i kept fainting anyway they couldnt take no blood ....they moved me up to a ward and about 8 hrs later they took me for a scan normal one first and they couldnt see anything so then they did me an internal and then they told me it was an eptopic.within the hr i was in theater and like you they removed my left tube..my head aws kettled ....anyway its nearly 2 years on and ive just found out im preg 5 wks gone.dont get me wrong it was hard why we were ttc,my head went west and it was really getting me down...but you can concive again it might take you twice as long but youl get there hun..i dont no why they left you for so long i was done the same day ,,,

had an ectopic in oct. A similar thing happened to me they told me it was a m/c and sent me home.

2 weeks later had loads of pain, went in and found it was ectopic but it was in my pelvis not in my tube, so no experience of having tube removed.

Just wanted to say that i am thinking of you and hope everything turns out ok
