Hey Lis, what about getting a few ones together, say aunts and uncles etc and clubing in for a holiday/cruise for later on in the year? Might be a bit pricey, but if you have enough people clubbing in instead of each buying them crystal and stuff it could be a good idea. Your mum would be able to say she got a cruise for her 25th wedding anniversary! Just a thought, the album and family photo are both lovely ideas too.
Are you having a party for them, I had a family doo/gathering for mine and a mass blessing/renewal of wedding vows at the chapel then onto the meal. Had a one piece band, but all my extended family had chipped in to help me, had a lovely unusual cake for them with a church on top. Mum liked the cake best of all I think!lol
Good luck! Sharon xx

Cant do a cruise/ abroad hoilday, dad anit good at flying and mum is scared of boats/sea, but could do a hoilday in england or scotland unless we send mum flying and dad sailing. Will have a word with me sis about your idea. No anit having a party for them, we're going out for a meal with a few family and friends. Your parents one sounds nice bet it made your mums year.

where they went on honeymoon? Surprise castle weekend away or something? Maybe tickets to a show or hobbie related event that they are interested in.
The meal with the family and friends will be just perfect! Take plenty of photos even a video/dvd of it would be nice. You could do a dvd and put their wedding photos at the beginning, when you and your siblings came along, and present day photos. Dont forget the cake!lol

right out of my mouth Nicki. I hadn't even scrolled down to your answer & that's what went through my mind. My Dad did one for my Mum for her 50th & she loved it.
Another personalised gift is a newspaper or something like that from the actual day they got married.

girls but cant really do the album as dad's parents didnt have a camera when dad was growing up so theres no pics for him and mum would see me stealing the pics. Could always give them pep, they love her to bit, lol. I am going to have to think
