anyones babys size not match up with dates??

when i had my 12 week scan my size an dates were bang on well at my 20wk scan shes about 2weeks out but they are sticking to my original due date me and oh are only small tho so maybe she just going to be little??

I think the baby's size can go up and down a little during pregnancy, if they were worried about anything they would of asked you to go back for further growth scans so as they haven't then your baby (although on the smaller size) must still be within the right range.

My baby was the normal size at my 20 week scan but because I have thyroid problems (overactive) they will scan at 32 and 36 weeks as well as they think the baby could be born on the really small size. The hospital are not concerned by it at all they just want to keep an eye on her growth as expect it to start flutating outside of the norm.

I think although most babies are text book in size there will always be some for one reason or another that will be outside of the range, and unless they have highlighted a problem with how your little one is developing, being a little small or a little big is not that unusual or a problem
