"Hi" Posted by jules3010 4 March at 12:59
I am flying at 32 weeks - just heathrow to newcastle with BA. The BA site has info about flying while pregnant on it.
If your past 28 weeks you need a certificate from your doc saying your fit to fly. I had to pay £12 to get this
I think BA let you fly upto 36 weeks if you have a certificate (domestic or short haul flights)

Found this online - "Most airlines will not let you fly during the last few weeks of pregnancy, not because it is dangerous, but because they would prefer you not to give birth on the plane. As different airlines have different rules it is advisable to contact the airline you plan to fly with to find out their policy. Most airlines require a medical certificate after 28 weeks and will not let you fly after 36 weeks. The rules keep changing, so check before you book and remember to take into account the dat of your return journey."
hope this helps Lis and 34+3week girl bump x

"Best to ask your midwife" Posted by nicki313 4 March at 12:30
As far as im aware its best to travel in your 2nd trimester which is 16 to 27 weeks? Are you staying over here until bubs is born or just coming over to give birth?
