6 week scan - what do they do?

Hi ya,

I've got to have a 6 week scan due to being on medication for epilepsy.

I read somewhere last night that this is likely to be an internal. Eeek!

Can anyone tell me if this is the case / have you been through it etc etc.

I'm a bit nervous to say the least.

i had an early scan at 7wks and yes it was an internal scan it wasnt uncomfortable or anything im sure you will be just fine!

I had an internal when I miscarried it doesnt hurt had an external scan at 8 weeks with this one its on my profile
