Right think i've finally got my bag packed. I did have 3 originally, one for labour, one for after the birth and one for the baby, but i got paranoid the hospital staff would just think i was too cautious so now i've just got one holdall with everything in it. The thing is we live so close to the hospital if i need anything else but i don't want my oh to abandon me to have to fetch something!
This is my list:
Dressing gown, nightie, pyjamas, 5 pairs knickers, 2 pairs of socks, towel.
Toiletries-face wipes, toothbrush, hairband, mini shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, femwipes, 10 maternity pads, flannel, deodrant.
Cotton wool, baby lotion & talc, 10 nappies, 3 bibs, 1 muslin cloth.
3 sleepsuits in different sizes, 1 hat 1 pair of mittens, 1 fleece jacket, rattle.
TENS machine.

What do you think, thanks.

Make sure you pack an old t-shirt/nightie for labour so you can throw it away.....not the sort of thing you want to take home and wash, mine was disgusting and went straight in the bin.

to pack more maternity pads. I went through bucket loads - you wouldn't believe how much you bleed - sorry - and you'll need to double up on them for a day or two! Also take more baby clothes than that. my little'un was sick a lot and had to be changed about 5 times in a couple of hours!
Good luck.
