Does stress harm the baby?

Me & my partner have been going through a rough patch recently. Sometimes i think its getting better then other times its back to arguing constantly with each other. We have had some blazing rows where we have both shouted really loud and i feel crap for doing it and have been worried how all the arguing and stress has affected the baby, does anyone have any advice about this?

Thanks Claire 38+2

Hey claire

I wish I could advice you something but it seems we are in the same page and I do get into fights with my hubby and its crazy coz we fight so much and I cry all the time and now Im so scared that this has affected on my baby. I just dont know what to do anymore!!!!

I cry almost every other day and scream..Its horrible! Everyone tells me to stop doing that and they tell my hubby to stop annoying me but it seems he loves to make me cry

Im sick of it and I just dont know what to do?

All I could say is good luck hon because I dont have that LUCK!

Aw

Claire I feel for you. Hope you and OH sort it all out! Babs can hear at your stage, not sure when they actually start hearing, must look into that, but at your stage they can hear for defs. If your annoyed or stressed they can sense that too. Its not good for you or babs for you to be getting stressed out and having rows, think of your blood pressure. Explain this to your partner, maybe he is winding you up a bit and tell him to stop it! Put you and baby first!

Hi

Well stress isnt good for you or babs I dont think it will physically harm the baby as such but obviously if your stressed out then your bloody pressure may rise and that can cause some problems and sometimes start you off in labour, also when bubs is born they usually pick up on this stuff whenever me and hubby rowed when we had 1st * we seemed to literally be arguing 24/7* my daughter used to scream and not settle, I know its hard but for your own sake if you start arguing take some time out just walk away and go for a short walk around the block or to the shop or something just to get you to calm down a bit you can give your OH payback once babs has safely arrived lol take carexxx
