"Early scan but too early to see anything?"
Posted by aibos786 11 March  at  17:54

I had to go for an early pregnancy scan today. I am 6wk + 4. I had terrbile tummy pain yesterday. The local midwifery unit is fantastic here and they said to pop down this morning. The midwife is 90% sure it isn't ectopic but it was too early to see anything so need to go back next week. I am so anxious this time round as we were trying for quite a while for baby number two. Any advice is appreciated.
S, x.

I've not got any major words of wisdom, but I'm 7 weeks tomorrow and I've had horrendous stomach ache this week (almost doubled over on Sunday and had to go to bed - but much better by Monday), so even if your scan didn't quite show enough yet you're not alone in the horrible tummy pains. Keep us posted when you go back.

I don't really have any advice for you - sorry hun - I had my scan at 8 wks. But I just wanted to wish you luck - I know how hard it is to have to wait - it seems like forever doesn ... - but I'm sure everything will be fine
