Congratulations with your pregnancy
I think that you shouldnt worry that much.A bit mayonase han not harm yoou baby. When I was pregnant I even made my self mayonese with raw eggs and still nothing bad happend. But if your doctors says you should not have then just stop using it in future and it will be fine.
I know it is good to eat very much fruit and vegatables and try to avoid soda drinks and fast food. Brocoli is for exemple very healthy and rich in folic acid wich is very important in pregnancy. Prepare very good you meat and fish so they are not raw (when they are row they may contain bacteria like salmonela or so -the white meat)Tkae daily pregnancy vitamins and drink at least of half litar milk cause you will need the calcium for your bones and teeth .Avoid tuna and sushi... Also sweets too..Sweets are not dangerous but it is better if you dont eat more balanced food,,,
That what I know but I am not a doctor so contact your doctor with everything you think you should know.
"Don't worry"

Hi there,

Congratulations first of all!!!

You can eat cheese but they do advise you not to eat soft cheeses. And you can eat shop bought mayonaise but they do say not to eat home made mayonaise.

I really wouldn't worry though. Just think about all these people who don't even realise they are pregnant for months and they eat what they want.

Hope all goes well for you and baby.

x

Hi,
Congratulations!
I went to the doctor last week.
He said dont eat soft cheese or blue cheese eg. brie/stilton ( normal cheese such as cheddar is fine ) and dont eat pate or liver or more than 2 tins of tuna a week & ( Shop bought mayo is fine )

If not already doing so then it's a good idea to take folic acid until 12 weeks pregnant.

Hope this helps! Good luck!

hiya
i just wanted to say dont stress too much about what to do and what not to do.. if u think about it healthy babies have been being born for billions of years without any of this stuff about food being known, mayonnaise is so massively unlikey to cause any harm! a happy mum equals a happy baby so pls dont worry too much, x
