Hey...

we got ours from the mamas n papas warehouse. its just that lil bit cheaper than the shop. but we got a great deal cos it was the last lot. we got a cot bed, change top dresser and waredrobe for £250!!! we had to buy the mattress seperate and that cost £100.
you should have a look round to see if there is a warehouse near you. the one we went to is at huddersfield.
the bedding etc is really good prices too.

take care

Hey

i got my wardrobe and chest of drawers and changing unit from MFI in Jan sales cost me £200 adn then got cot from mothercare for £200 in sale (with mattress) Argos do some very good deals or have a look on ebay they had some new stuff that was pretty cheap (that i found after i bought mine)

Kiddiecare also do good deals and if you spend over £50 del is free so worth a look. personally i think they need to open up some more shops they sound really good.
I also bought a glider chair for £30 on ebay was virtually brand new only been used twice then she got an old fashioned rocker so worth a look.

I agree, Kiddicare should open up nationwide, the only store is here in Peterborough, it is huge now, but they are relocating to an even bigger 3 story building, I can't wait for it to open!!
The staff are so helpful, it is ten times better than Mothercare for the variety of products and customer service. I always rave about them on here!

Argos!

Believe it or not Argos has got some great stuff for nursery/baby things, have a look through their catalogue/over the internet...

Bought

my nursery furniture in Kiddicare, their store is actually here, so didn't have to buy online...we got a cot bed, a chest thing with drawers and doors and a 2dr wardrobe with drawer at the bottom, also a cot top changer came with the set we purchased, although there was a cot changing unit on top of the chest if we wanted to use that, although I wont be doing so, we bought this when I was about 30 weeks and it had a bit of money off in the new year sale - very lucky.

can't believe you're 28weeks already!

i know im getting soooo excited now! Bet u are too. any sign of lil one?

We got

White, we looked at lots of different colours and found it difficult to choose, the nursery isn't huge, and we loved the look of the really dark wood but thought it might make the room look smaller, the white makes it all look really fresh and clean and spacious too.

£399 is good I think, I think for a 3 piece set that is about what you'd expect to pay, I know argos have some Mama & Papa sets that look nice, it just depends what you want.

I'm very excited, no signs of baby at all....
