Hey
yip sort of decided that i am having a home birth. Just been for the hospital visit and everything that we talked thought that i wanted could be at home or at hospital, so will try and head for home birth. Sorry to the boss of so fem for saying this but if you go on to bounty.com and onto the homebirth forum you will get great advice from girls planning or have had home births. they were great telling me if i had problems with trying to get midwife to agree what to do. Or another one i use for info is homebirths.org. Will defo let you know

Thanks hun
so your having number 2? sorry i never got back to you on bebo the other day, had to pop out when i checked it. Everyone i have spoken to on the phone has said that, i hope she doesnt, i want her to stay put til 37 weeks, no espaning ealier. my sis friend started enegaing at 33 weeks and was fully engaged at 36 but landed up being induced at 42 weeks. She got told at her 36 weeks that baby would be here b4 the due date (olivia's birthday) so i anit worried yet. hows thing with you??

Hello....
LOL!! Babys are so unpredictable!! Dont worry about it. I feel as if ive been ignoring people cos ive been so busy being a mummy to reply! Your weeks seem to be flying by!
My mates due today... no sign of the little ... yet! Im gettin all broody again!! I cant wait for number 2 hehe!! I was going to wait about 2 years but if i get my way it would be more like 6months!
Looks like your little girl is getting herself ready and at least she knows which way to come out! I would def keep off the hot currys and that for a few weeks cos it may get you going!
take care Stacey & Livvy x x x

Yip they can be so i anit holding my breath. Dont be silly you anit ignoring people and folk understand your too busy with the wee princess (oh is so sweet, bebo pics) to be ignoring them. Oh a shame, let me know what she has, (noisy i am). LOL, first time asked you you said when shes at school, then 2 years now 6 months better not ask again you might say next week, lol. What about your bp, would that cope with it all again?? Yip she's being perpared, its ok i dont like currys at the best of times and defo not taking or doing anything that might set me off, but i've got a concert next weekend and a bit scared as i have heard (not sure how true it is) loud music could set it off, I'll be in glasgow so na at home, nick thinks i should take stuff just incase as we dont know glasgow at all so if she does come then then we dont have to find a baby shop, i think he's just being a stupid idoit as normal.

Not allowed
im not allowed a homebirth as my first pregnancy i had problems. would of loved one though cos it would be so nice to relax in your own space. is it normal to have reduced movements around 32wks? its more pressure i feel and squirming.
|
|
|
Oh a shame
I have been feeling more pressure in my chest and she said it was coz the womb is up there and then pressure at the side but found the side last night and it was her shoving something out which the midwife felt today as her bum mmm nice, but i still get kicks and get squirming getting kicked just now coz westlife are playing

Squirming
i like that word hehe. got my next check on tues so will ask the midwife if i should be feeling more. not going to stress out though its prob cos im sat in work and dont notice it,
|
|
|
Yeah
its a kl word yeah ask her but believe me i have felt more kicks this past two week then ever before coz i have been on hoilday and be able to notice it.

The way it works up here
it doesnt matter if its your 1st or 100th one hun, but i think some places perfer you to have first labour at hospital from what i gather from other sites (sorry girls for cheating on you, lol). I dont think my hospital is going to be homely but my main reason for a home birth is that i feel nick will have be going home and misses hours of babys life and i miscarried in that hospital and everytime i go past it or go into it, i start thinking and get a bit upset about what happened, my midwife understands that. Speak to her about it and see what its like at your end of the country. I think so too but my midwife said at my next appoiment is plenty of time to start planning it. yeah going to write them down soon and start doing them

Forgot
to say that they cant refuse you really unless there was a problem in a labour before or a problem in this pregnancy.

Thanks lisa
I have been phoning around a few of them to see what the craic is. Over here, N.Ireland practically no one gets a homebirth! I dont even think its a 1st baby thing, they are not geared up to it at all. People are totally against it and feel hospital is best place to birth. I cant figure it out at all. Maybe I am just ment to birth this one in hospital...the fact that I am getting zero encouragement (except from DH) is getting me down and I am just thinking well maybe they are all right and I will have to conceed through gritted teeth that I am wrong just this time!

Oh hun
there is one way to get a home birth and thats to leave it too late to get to the hospital, thats what i was planing on doing if i didnt get it and was wanting it near the time. Over there works totally different to over here, i cant see why though as n.ireland is part of uk, well i thought it was till i started speaking to you and what you have said its totally different. i am in shock.

Dont worry
it will say in your notes, its very early for the head to be engaged though
