"Here is what happened (its a long one )"

So far......


Well on tuesday i had my antenatal clinic, and a sweep, which was pointless!

Wednesday, i noticed that her movements were not as active as normal, but put it down to being messed around with on tuesday.

Thursday, was getting quite concerned as had only felt 3 movements from little one since 10pm wednesday night, so the day assessment unit asked me to come in.

In we went at half one, got hooked up to a TOCOGRAPH (thanks Leitia didn't know it was called that!)and her heartbeat was monitered for and hour, developed a massive headache while i was there, so they took my blood pressure which was 130/94!

they took bloods to check for uric acids and stuff, and took a mucous sample from my lady bits (sorry) they were not happy with little ones heart rate, so they decided to keep me in overnight.

8pm i got hooked up again and her heart rate was all over the place and my bp had still not improved, they took me off after an hour and left me alone til half 2 in the morning when they woke me up to do my bp which was 120/70 (yay) but that was short lived as it shot back up.
They also put me back on the monitor for 3hrs as little ones hb kept dropping then picking up with no explination.

After yet another sweep in which i had 2 people doing it, (student mw and her teacher who was brutal!) i bled a little after that so my hope got up, they said i could go home! pete came tp pick me up at half 5, and at 8pm we finally got home.
I am on bp tablets and have to go back to the d.a.w monday for a bp check and another trace.

Fingers crossed that the other sweep done something

Awww hun,

sounds like you had a real nasty time of it, lets hope the tablets help to regulate it all,

it does sound like that other sweep might have started something for you, especially with you saying about the runs etc...lets hope thats your body having a clear out in preparation.

Sounds like you didnt really have much fun? Hopefully it has done something n it would of all been worth it! I have everything crossed n hopefully you will be holding your baby girl soon!

Thanks for the reply, i spent most of last night wavering between feeling really sick and going to the loo a million times, and today i seem to have the runs (soz tmi) headache bad enough to split it open!

Oh well, she will be here soon
