"Hi lisy!" Posted by rach1974 3 April at 09:36
I know what you mean about no one chatting when in early PG. I'm 6 + 2weeks and theres not many people talking about what is happening to them, only because there girls are further on than us or they've had their babies!. I do feel on my own as I haven't any one in my family to talk to (as my mum died 3 yrs ago) so its really hard for me, but I just potter on and get though every day.
Have you had any bad pain in lower abdomen? I've been in terrible pain only at night which is weired, but from what I can make out on this site I think its growing pains!! Well I do hope so as its not nice!!
Hope you are feeling all right, are you having the dreaded sickness?? I, thankfully haven't had any thing like that only really sore BBS!! But try to not think about it, as when I went to my hairdressers on Tues I neary passed out as I got to hot and felt a wholly!!! So be careful about getting to hot in a confined space as it can be embarrassing!!!!
Anyway you take care and if you want to PM me anytime I will be glad to help (if I can on any worries you have etc..) Rachxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"Hi there" Posted by reesy 2 April at 16:53
I've been on this site since last May (TTC, Expecting, MC, TTC & expecting again). I've been in the expecting forum again since I was 4 weeks this time and I'm still here going strong. It doesnt mater how far along you are, we are all happy to share the joy's, questions, worries, aches and pains etc, after all, we've all been there. In fact, we are the best people to talk to because hopefully, in many instances we can put your mind at rest. You'll be very surprised how soon it will be before you're much later in the pregnancy. After the 1st 12 weeks, time really flies.
Congratulations on the pregnancy and good luck.
Lotsa love

Hi Lisa CONGRATULATIONS!
Its really good to hear that someone else is just over 5 weeks like me, i am 5 weeks and 2 days!!!
I only came off the pill in Feb and i have not had a normal AP since then, so i did a test last wed and there was 2 lines not 1!!! so i did 4 more just to be sure, my husband said i best go to the doctor and she did a test and confirmed that i was pregnant!
My doctor told me to make an appointment with the mid wife so i'm going on Thursday.
It doesn't feel real, my only symptoms is that i feel bloated, i keep belching (not attractive), my nipples are a little sore, i sometimes wake in the morning thirsty, and today i fell asleep for 3 hours in the afternoon!
Be good to keep in touch and see how your getting on. My due date is 30th Nov 08 - when is yours?

I'm due 25th November I think - have an early scan next Wednesday to confirm.
It's lovely that so many people have replied to my post - great to know that you're not on your own!
Here's to firm friendships over the next 8 months or so

"I am" Posted by hopinghearts 31 March at 23:19
Hi Lisa,
I am 6 weeks + 1 today so am in the very early stages too. This is my second baby but we have been trying for 3 and half years for this one! So I am very nervous too. I haven't really had any symptoms at all yet, and I think this is why I am finding it hard to believe!
My GP told me to make an appointment with the midwife when I am 9 weeks. That seems like ages away and I can't wait. Maybe it will seem a bit more real then. When have you been told to see your midwife?
Take care Tricia x

"Hiya tricia" Posted by lisat7 1 April at 09:35
I'm seeing midwife at 10 weeks, 28th April.
I have an early scan next week due to previous m/c
This is also my second baby, though it's over 11 years since I had my first - I remember that I had no symptoms whatsoever so it shouldn't really be worrying me that I have none now!
Guess I'm just older and more of a worrier!
Thanks for your reply, keep in touch
Lisa x

"Hi lisa" Posted by jules3010 31 March at 17:18
I have been using this sight since I was 5 weeks and have found it so useful, I am now coming up to 30 weeks and you will find there is women from all stages of pregnancy on here to chat too. Its nice cos the ladies that are further along (been there got the tshirt) are able to offer loads of advice about what happened at different stages of their pregnancies, I found this a huge help early on as I didn't have the easiest start, and from my point of view its nice to reassure the ladies that are going through what I went through 20 or so weeks ago.
Anyway welcome to the site and hope you have a healthy 35 weeks.

p.s. although I don't use it I do go on bounty for a nose and they have forums by due months, so if you wanted to give that a go you'll find loads of ladies at exactly your stage

They may not be at the same stage as you, they may well have had their babies but thats why it is great on here because you can ask anything, and because we've beenat your stage or like some had their babies we are happyu to give advice.

and you're all wonderful, really.
Think it's just cos I suffered m/c last year and so am extremely anxious!!
Also probably used to being on ttc where everyone is in exactly the same boat!
Best of luck for the rest of your pregnancy - hope I too can soon say "Lisa and 36 wks bump"!!!
