Hi all mums to be,
How are you all. God can't believe were nearly there.
I'm due on the 4th May so only 31 days left but i'm not counting honest!!
Babys head is 4/5 engaged when i went for my 34 week checkup but i think its dropped even more cos its getting uncomfortable to walk about. Not sleeping very well at all just can't see to get comfortable and suffering some nights from leg cramps. But i can't complain cos i've had a fantastic pregnancy so far.
Finally finish work tomorrow! YIPEE 9mths off!
Nursery is finished and my hospital bag is packed. Just need to wash babygrow and sleepsuits for my little man and pack his bag for his big arrival!
Weight wise i've put on 2 stone 10lb which i'm not happy with but i've decided not to let it bother me plenty of time to try and shed it in summer.
I would love to hear how everyone else is who is due in May.
Take Care Love Jennie

I put a post up a few days ago saying the same sort of things as you! I am due 1st May!!!
I can't believe how quick the last few weeks have gone. I finished work at Easter and am so glad as get really tired every day now plus when I walk anyway start to feel faint which is very annoying. I've got everything apart from some blankets for the crib and my nursing bras which I will get fitted for at home soon. Just ordered my tens machine to hire too off the web.
I am sleeping ok apart from the odd night where I wake up and my brain won't stop going into megadrive. But only go to the loo about twice a night so think I am lucky?
Have packed most of my hospital bag - although it is actually a suitcase - plus another bag for baby! Once I got my dressing gown and sanitary pads in it's was virtually full! Still haven't written my birth plan yet but have thought about it. Am going to type it up tomorrow!
Baby is 3/5's engaged which is scary. I thought it had moved as the last few times it had hiccups it felt alot lower but my bump hasn't changed shape that much which confused me!
My weight gain is confusing too as I lost 1 and a bit stone due to really bad morning sickness and diarhorrea in the first 4 months, so if you take it from my pre pregnancy weight I've only put on a stone and 2 lbs but if you take it from what I went down to after losing weight I've put over 2 stone!
Still waiting for stretch marks to arrive - am preparing myself for them coming just in case so I don't get disappointed when they do... My sister got some on her boobs when her milk came in so guess that may stil happen! Boo - hoo....
Have read all my books now about 100 times. Going to NCT antenatal next week which is really late but was the only ones we could book onto. Am hoping to make some friends as don't know many people near me and family all live miles away.
This weekend we started decorating another bedroom with the help of some friends! We must be mad - I've just escaped as the wallpaper scraping was starting to wear me out! IF we get it done we will move into it before baby comes, otherwise will squeeze the crib into our existing room. But nursey is done already which is a relief...
Hope you all keep in touch over next few weeks. OMG it's only 3 weeks on Thursday for me!!!! HELP!
Bye for now, Anne x x x 36 weeks + 3 days

Hi, I have untill two weeks today before I finish work, than due to hubby's job we're moving from london to belfast 3 days after that!!! its all a bit mad, but exciting at the same time! so much to do tho!I already have hospital bag, and my so called emergency moving bag!!! in case baby decides to show early half way between here and Northern Ireland!!!
I have already put on about 2st and 9lb but I figured the little miracle will be worth it. and i'm hoping all the activity of being a new mum and all tghe unpacking and settling in will kick start the weight loss afterwards. hee hee. #
Good luck hunny x x x

I have another 18 more working days at work before I start my leave, not that I am counting!
Hasnt the time gone quickly, I cant believe how close it all is now. I am seeing the consultant and VBAC midwife this coming week to discuss what will be best for me with regards to delivery method so I may well be a week early if I choose the CS option, I really cant make up my mind, just when I think I know, I change my mind again.
I think I have everything for my bags I just need to pack, will more than likely do this weekend. Just need a few bits for baby, am off to town tomorrow so that will then be done.
Weight wise, I weighed myself this morning and I have only put on 10lbs, midwife is happy and baby is measuring just over average size and is healthy.
Take Care all and keep us informed of how it goes, I would love to hear.

Hi Jennie,
I'm 33+4 so not too long to go now provided I don't go over. I'm really fed up with being pregnant and morning sickness has made a dreaded return for me unfortunately.
You sound very organised - we're packing hospital bag this weekend and finally ordered our pram last weekend. So we're getting there. We've also been given some stuff which is great - I find the whole baby buying thing quite stressful.
I've put on stacks of weight - about 3 1/2 stone (and unlike J-Lo I'm not having twins!)I blame the sickness - eating seems to take the queasy feeling away. But I know I've eaten what I wanted and I'll regret it when I'm trying to lose it. Not being able to exercise has made it much worse - I used to run about 15K a week but since being pregnant have done nothing (due to sickenss and tiredness). Anyway hopefully breastfeeding will help.
Good luck with the birth - how are you feeling about it? Cherry x

Hi Jennie,
I am due same time as you, on 3rd May....its exciting isn ... Although my nerves are all over the place at the moment i don't know what to do with myself, trying to think of new ways of relaxing- baths don't do it for me, i get too hot and flustered!
Our baby is being awkward (just like its Daddy) and is in breech position, so really nervous about it not turning in time =+/ But apart from that things are going well.
Like you i am finding it increasingly difficult to get compfy at night and have a good sleep. lieing on my right hand side i feel like i have acid refulx floating about (nice) and on the other, my ribs hurt and baby wiggles too much (good choice)
I have put on 2 stone altogether but just to make you feel better J-Lo put on about 3 and half stone (when preg with twins)...and she has dropped most of it off her (its alright if you have a personal trainer at your beck and call!)Its actually very normal to put on 2/3 stone so don't worry.
Starting to have the odd 'rough day' where i feel really out of sorts, my energy levels are up and down all the time and my tum gets a bit more upset that it used to but can't complain too much.
Anyway, take care
Lou & beanie (35+5)xx
