Hi everyone, sorry for what I am about to explain,, but I dont know where else to go for advice.

This morning, when I went to the toilet, quite a lot of clear mucus type stuff came out. Then I went again about half an hour later and there was more and it had a tiny bit of blood in it. Is this my mucus plug? What does it mean? It is so gross that I didnt want to ask anyone but I have had such good advice on this forum, I thought I would give it a try.

Any ideas anyone? I have also felt some pressure down below and am really scared.

Thanks girls.

Yeliz and 39+3 blue bump

I think it's your plug too! It can come away from 48hrs before labour upto during labour so be on the look out for more signs.....pressure is likely baby's head engaging as yr cervix is starting to open...(hence plug has come away) Could be your waters are the next to go! That's how all mine have started!! Or could be contractions........anyway ring the hospital to say what's happened so they have yr notes etc ready!! Very exciting!!

Good luck! Love Trace xxxx

as if it could be your plug, I had a bloody show at 4pm on the Monday, had contractions start at 3am on the Tuesday, another bloody show at 5am and had my baby girl the following day, Wednesday at 10.38am, it was obviously a bloody show, I was over due and there was no mistaking it.

Hope things really start to happen for you soon, good luck.
