Im just stating my opinion here so please dont take any offence to it.
I think that if you are scared to tell him what you want, then your relationship is not ready for a baby yet, however, I could be wrong and your just scared of rejection on the baby subject. You both have to wait untill you are both ready, and you will never know without talking to him about it.
Is it not better to just ask, then sit an wonder what if I ask?
