OMG!!!! i am now 10 weeks late for my period went to the doctors who did urine test which said negative then blood tests which showed hormone levels were normal but my liver enzymes were high which only occurs in pregnancy, doc thought it could be due to an early miscarriage i had in feb and said its prob taking a while for my levels to get back to normal she said to come back in 6 wks if i hadnt come on my period but to continue doing tests!

so i went to my friends house today who begged me to do another test and i had a very faint positive! i did a second test which had a slightly stronger line but still faint!!! OMG! im trying not to get my hopes up too much so im going to wait for the weekend and retest,

if i am pregnant i wont know how far i am as my last period was 10 wks ago but tests said negative, it was only last week that my blood test showed high liver enzymes and only today that i had a faint test so i dont no how far i am (if i am at all)


every time i blow my nose i get a bit of a nose bleed is this normal?

thanks for all your messages guys but unfortunately my joy was short lived i started with stomach cramps last night and heavy bleeding this morning. im heart broken but tring to look positively and think atleast it happened early on in the pregnancy it would have been awful if id have gone further on then lost it.

It wouldn't be unusual for your cycles to still be a bit out after the mc, you may have just ovulated very late.
If the lines keep getting stronger it's a very good sign.

wow ! im pretty sure u are pregnant ! if you tested neg as before and now theres a faint line ... mine was so faint my hubby didnt quite believe me for a few days !!give it 3 or 4 days n test first thing in morning, it will have a stronger line cos the hormone levels keep building up. i recon you are almost 4 weeks now ?! you could ask for an early dating scan at around 6-8 weeks ,i had it with my daughter, its so reassuring cos if they can find a heart beat it means you only have a 3%chance of mc.

I just knew it - been watching your story unfold on ttc!

I know that the nose bleeds are quite common in preg though I haven't had them myself

I would speak to your GP again and explain the two positive tests - they may refer you for an early dating scan so that you can establish where you are up to!

well congrats a line is a line as they say with my 1st pregnancy i missed 2 periods before a test even showed a faint line, ring the dr's in the morning and tell them youve had 2 tests they will probably re test your blood, with reguards to the nose bleeding i have these almost everyday its normal only really need anything doing if it doesn;t stop. take care xx
