"Hey " Posted by fairycakes84 23 April at 14:16
Hi Kate I have this but fortunatley have only developed it in the last few weeks so havent had to suffer with it for too long like some ladies.
It is absolute agony and sleeping is very difficult for me at the moment .. I havent used crutches so cant really give advice on that but my MW gave me a booklet on exercises for SPD that are supposed to ease the discomfort.
When do u see your MW next ?? ask her for this booklet and whether it would benefit you .. Obviously I dont know the severity of yours so I wouldnt like to tell you to do them in case it makes yours worse

"Looked it up " Posted by butterfly3333 23 April at 14:04
Hi Kate...I looked it up on Babyworld and there has been a couple of girls on here with that...look up Mrs Moos post. Think this is what she has and she is wearing a belt for it. "The physiotherapist can give you a pelvic support garment to wear such as a belt or Tubigrip bandage, and crutches if walking is difficult. You'll also be given gentle exercises to help strengthen the muscles supporting the joint and general advice about posture and activities to avoid. S/he will also discuss delivery options and positions with you. If necessary, you can also be referred to an occupational therapist for other aids to make your daily life easier."
