Hi ladies,

I hope I don't sound moany but I'm paranoid. Am 12 weeks ( so thrilled that I've made it this far), but I'm constantly worried whether the baby is alright. Does it have a heart beat, is it growing ok???

Have another scan on Monday (first was at 8 weeks) so I'm counting down the hours.

I'm quite a bit rounder in the last 10 days, so I'm growing nicely but I've read a couple of things that say you can have a 'missed miscarriage' - has anyone had this before/ is it common?

Sorry.

Abi x

My cousin had a missed MC, but she didnt have any scans up until her 12wk one and that was when it was discovered. Poor girl! It was due to this terrifying thought that I asked for an early scan at 11wks, we werent due to get our 1st scan until 16wks here! I would have been pulling my hair out by then. So the fact that you had a scan at 8wks and everything looked grand then Im sure you and babs are just fine. Abi, why dont you get one of them Angel Dopplers off Ebya. I got one and its great to listen to littlin when you are a wee bit worried that they are ok. I was just listening to mine last night...babs heart was racing away! Awww
