You should def mention this to medical staff but I'm sure you'll be fine. I have lost 2 and the bleeding didn't come and go. It just came and came. I have also had slight bleeding which stopped in other pregnancies (causes unknown). It's prob not related to not resting either. It's hard not to worry but try not to anyway. Let us know outcome

try not to worry to much i had very heavy clotty red blood at 9 and 10 weeks which turned out to be a blood pocket behind the placenta and it worked itself out by scan at 16 weeks. if your worried contact your gp or go to a&e they were great with me.
hope it all works out

Hi Vic,
I'm nearly 14 weeks and I've had 5 episodes of bleeding so far. The first was around 5 weeks and all have been bright red. They have been a bit like yours by the sounds of it and so far (touch wood) have gone almost as quickly as they come, I'm guessing as you refer to bleeding yesterday it's stopped today?
I've miscarried in the past (at 9 weeks) so I know it's easy when people say don't worry, and I've panicked every time so far, but I think we just have to try not to somehow.
Incidentally when I went for 12 week scan he told me I had a subchorial haematoma which is a pocket of blood near the cervix causing bleeding. I put a post up about it the other day as I didn't know what it was really and I'm feeling reassured to know a few of the other girls have had it too. Hopefully this will help reassure you that sometimes there are reasons to bleed bright red and not worry.
Good luck, N xxx
