"When did baby move?"

Hi girls, just wondering when you all definately felt baby move for the first time?

I'm 18+4wks today and for the last couple of days have felt very slight movements (at least I think I have, I'm not entirely sure?!) Would be nice to know for definite if its baby moving or trapped wind! Had everyone felt baby by now or did some of you not feel til further on?

tc, Shelley xx 18+4

I felt flutters (bit like gas) from about 12 weeks maby earlyer but i was around 18 weeks when i could feel what you are feeling.

I would say if you think they are movements they definetly will be no matter how small of gentle they are

I felt movement from about 16 weeks, it was just a very small kind of 'popping' feeling like a minature kick (bless!)

Even though it's my second I did not feel bump move til about 22.5 weeks. My placenta is at the front though so acting as a cushion but I was waiting and waiting then I eventutally felt movement. Sure you'll feel something in the next few weeks.

Good luck with the pregnancy.

Love Sam & 29+2 bump xxxx

..i was about 15/16 weeks when i first felt 'flutters'. to me they felt like your stomach 'flipping' when you go on quite a fast/bumpy roller coaster!!

i then felt the baby kick at just after 20 weeks, just before my first scan (back then four years ago, you only had one around 20 weeks, god how times has changed!!)
you will defo know when baby kicks, it is so surreal!! at first i was longing for him to kick, as the weeks went on they got more intense, at times i had to 'push' his foot back in!! weird i know but it did make me smile!! people used to say 'ah he will be a footballer when he grows up', and guess what he does love footy!! but then again so does every 4 year old!!
