Hi sienna64

when i had my son the midwifed said not to have sex for 21 day after haveing a baby as u will fall pregnant again so yes u can still fall pregnant with out your periods

I know exactly how you feel

i gave birth to my baby 6weeks ago which i lost to anencephaly a neural defect and ive never been so desparate for anther baby. i havent had a period yet either and im always a 28day cycle i feel that i am pregnant even after 2 neg tests. it could be possible with u as uour extremly fertile after having a baby just mite be too early still. im keeping my chin up and im so sorry for your loss as i know how hard it is especially seeing babies everywhere you go. take care and good luck for the future. jenbob081xxx

Period

I had a similar experience to yours. I had a stillborn baby on April 6th and I still haven't had a period. I was wondering the same thing. I feel that I should be starting soon because my ovaries are hurting but no sign of it yet.

Hi

Hey i was told it was on the fourth week after giving birth that you have your period..However i only gave birth 5 weeks ago and still havent seen one either??
Im so sorry for your loss

Take care brooke and olivia x

How awful. So sorry to hear of your loss. I am 32 wks preg and have a 42 wk old baby. During the 10 wks that I wasn't preg I had no periods so it is poss to fall preg without a period in between. This is def when you're most fertile as it took almost a year to fall with 42 wk old babe and almost a year to fall with baby before that who miscarried so good luck and keep trying

Firstly

I am so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you are going through. About the periods, after my 1st and 2nd pregnancies I had a period after 4 weeks. With my last baby I didn't have one until she was 11 weeks old. I believe it is possible to get pregnant without a period. Could you be pregnant?

Im not pregnant

ive done a pregnancy test and its come back negative. so im not pregnant. which is a bummer, im not sure if its stress. i know you are quite fertile after youve had a baby i just didnt know for how long after, im just so desperate for anouther baby.

Hey

Hi Hon
I have been following your story and I too am so sorry for your loss, I cannot imagine what you are feeling.

I had a period after 4 weeks but was told this was unusual as I was exclusively breatfeeding. You can't get pregnant for 3 weeks after the birth but after that you are extremely fertile so keep trying. Fingers crossed for you.

Donna, x
