Hey there. My baby boy is a little over a month old, and the first night I had him in the hospital, I was freaking because during his sleep, he kept startling himself and jumping, like he was having horrible nightmares. I didn't realize babies could have such dreams, where they actually dreamed about things that scared them at this age. He is now almost 5 weeks old, and he still dreams all the time, but seems like he has less of the scary dreams. He does cry and wimper occasionally during his dreams, but doesnt really wake up looking scared to death anymore.

hello mummies

just wondering if any of you have seen what appears to be your baby dreaming.
my little 3 week old tia cries and whimpers in her sleep it seems like shes dreaming.

and if they do dream, does anyone know what about?

used to do that was rather ammusing to watch i should imagine they do dream what about no one will ever know my mum used to joke giant milk bottles with teeth chasing them lol

Yea I think they do dream, I heard they even dream when they are inside you, but they said they couldn't say what about!

I'm guessing the dreams revolve around milk at this stage lol.

Lily does this too and every so often while shes sleeping throws her little arms in the air with fingers wide apart, my OH says she must be remembering her entrance into the world, she looks so startled when she does that lol.
