Had a bit of a shock today, feels like ive been in hospital all day as i had a CTG/blood pressure all the checks and then had a scan and then saw a doctor at the hospital.
They have been keeping a close eye on me since they said baby is a little small and blood pressure went up.
My blood pressure was down again and wee sample was fine....

They did a scan and i had a student and this other lady who prodded me that much she actually caused a contraction!! (i described how i felt to the doctor and she said that my uterus was stimulated by all the prodding!!)....well this doctor seemed to be guessing at things and my med notes were all over the place, no one seemed to know who i had seen and why i was there and she even said 'oooo baby is a bit small we may have to induce you'..what?? my due date isnt until saturday and i think the baby is fine thanks!

Then another older and more wiser doc came in and put the other one right and said not to worry and just keep an eye on baby movements....phew!
Well back home now and feel much better now(i always feel ill with nerves in hospital!)

So more checks for friday and tuesday....watch this space!

dr's who have no clue what they are on about! i asked about induction at my last appointment as baby is rather large and they said oh no its ok we know you can have big babies and if its abnormally large well just cut you open now that freaked me out as i have a major fear or being cut and stitches! i think they just like scaring us even more than we already are !

They say things so 'matter of factly' and there you are shivering at the thought, i get really nervous as it is.....i hate it when there is conflicting conversations with doctors...which one do you choose/trust for their opinion...its like pot luck!
