Hope you are all well. I'm from the ttc forum & I know you're all probably sick of questions like this when we're on our 2ww lol, but I'm gonna ask anyway I probably asked a few months ago too!
How many of you "knew" you were pg before af was due?
or
what symptoms, if any, did you experience before af was due - whether you knew you were pg or now looking back?
comments would be much appreciated - even ones to tell me to wait & stop reading into things lol

I actually found out i was pregnant a year ago today! Time does fly it was like yesterday.
My symptoms were, sore boobs, servere headaches, very emotional and very strong sense of smell. Also went off the smell of clean washing (was my favourite smell!) Very bad period cramps, worse than normal period cramps too.
I really thought it wasent my month but i tested on the day i was due with a clear blue digi.
My little girl is now 4 and half months old!
Good luck with ttc i do know how stressful it is as we tried for 2years (exactly too! m/c carried on 3rd may 2005 found out on 2nd may 2007!)
Take care Stacey & 18wk Olivia x x x

I was only because..it was all the christmas partys and I wanted to get slaughtered.. and I had a niggling thought that maybe..just maybe I could be and when one particular hangover last 3 days, with vomiting. I did the test and there it was a very faint pink line, but I didnt tell a soul for 3 wks not even my hubby.

My AF was due on the Thursday. However, on the tuesday I had a very light (sorry tmi) bleed which was kind of dark brown - it only lasted about an hour. Also felt quite tired and BB's were slightly tender (not killing like they are now!!)
tested Thursday and got BFP with very cheap preg test.
Have had 2 scans already and my dates are bang on if this helps you assess your own symptoms.
Best of luck to you and to all those lovely ladies on ttc - I miss that forum you know!

was my left boob hurt - it felt like someone was "stabbing" just below my nipple - started about 5 days after ovulation, it would last about 10 seconds then go away again! At the time I didn't think anything of it - but looking back this was a sign.
Other than that I didn't feel any different!
I remember it was a Monday (my period wasn't due till the Friday) but my friend told me she was pregnant (she had only just started trying - and I had been trying for 3 years!) so I basically left work early, got in the car and burst into tears! I then drove home, but "for some reason" I diverted off to the chemist to buy a test? To this day I don't know why I did it? As soon as I got home I did the test and it was positive! I couldn't beleive it!
You will get there luvvy - I'm sure you will get your BFP soon! I know they say "try not to think about it" BUT its the only thing on your mind when trying isn ... BUT we were told in October by the Dr, that we won't be able to conceive naturally (had all the tests done - everything came back ok), so he couldn't see the problem so the only thing left was getting professional help! WELL I fell pregnant in November cause we basically stopped trying! So relax about it honestly.....
Best of luck and sending lots of baby dust your way!

Hi
I knew I was pregnant before I did the test, I just felt like I was, we weren't TTC so its not like I was looking out for any signs and my period wasn't late (they are irregular at the best of times so never paid any attention to them).
I had a feeling I was for about a week and then tested and got a positive result, I would of been 4 weeks pregnant at this point, so started feeling like I was at 3 weeks pregnant (in effect a week after conception).
My early symptoms were bloating, period pains and sore boobs - so exactly how I would of felt had it of been a period I was expecting.
Hope you get your positive result soon

Hello you!
I kinda knew 2 wks before my AF was due. My boobs were REALLY sore, worse than normal. Something in me just knew which is why I took an early test. My mum could just tell by looking at me around then too. She didn't want to say anything though at the time.
Actually, thinking about it, my cats knew too! They wouldn't leave me alone and still don't now! lol
Blowing baby dust to you hun. Catch you soon!
Love Sharon & 11 + 1 flump

jbeaumont1 Congrats on your pregnancy...oooh I'm getting hopes up reading that lol
butterfly3333 Hey hun, hope all is well. When dp & I put ttc on hold back in Feb I carried on with the temps then something in me (& a talking from a neighbour) made me stop. DP & I started ttc again at the start od April, I was so relaxed & took the laid back approach (literally lol). It's only in the 2ww that I've become obsessed again! tc xx
lisat7 10 wks, wow hasn ... flown xx Cheers hun
tiona80 It's funny what we remember & the details too, congrats on the BFP. I totally agree with the relaxed approach - it's just soooo hard after ov - the waiting game is horrendous lol
jules3010 Congrats on your BFP. I know what you mean about "feeling it", that's what's driving mad - but then I doubt my intuition - scared of disappointment I suppose.
shotofjd Hey Ex-ttc buddy, hows the flump? Ollie (my cat) hasn't left me alone! He is padding on me in bed, dribbling on me & wants to be on my lap!! Fingers crossed then xx
nicki313 Thx hun, I'm catching that baby dust x
Well I think I ov on CD20 (haven't charted this mth & hve only had reg cycles these past 3mths). I am now on CD31, AF due CD35 - 5th May On the night of cd27 I had cramps in bed, it so felt like AF was on her way, but nothing! I have headaches, twinges in my abdomen - I think both sides too? I have been having dizzy spells, been sick in mouth 3 times yesterday (soz tmi) cm in creamy. sore bb's started a couple of days ago but starting to hurt so much more when I lay in bed or walk upstairs, had a bit of lower back ache. Indegestion/heartburn, which I suffer from anyway. I think I'm peeing more but I don't know what the norm is to pee everyday? & I am drinking gallons of juice. I have been feeling shattered in the evening - probably too much time spent staring at the pc!
So all in all these are pretty much signs of AF too - so I will just have to wait & see - even if the wait is driving me round the twist!
Thanks again ladies for your replies
All the best & hope to join you real soon
xx

Your syms sound good!!...creamy muucuus is a sign...the tiredness was a big one for me too, hardly able to move in the evening it was straight to the sofa! My friend just got her BFP, the tiredness was what made me think she was and she was so surprised when she tested and got a +hpt. She had been doing the ov tests and bd around that time...that was her 3rd mth of actively ttc. She had been kindof ttc for 2yrs before that, but with not knowing when she was ovulating def reduced her chances.
Fingers crossed nasty AF stays away from you on the 5th!! Good luck! Sharon 22+3wk bump
