I completely sympathise with you, I had such terrible migraines in the beginning that they were going to refer me to the neurologist.
I managed to control them myself by doing the following;
1) Drinking about 2.5 litres of water a day. (So important as you get very dehydrated when you're pregnant). 2) Taking paracetamol when it got too much. (the less you take them th emore effective they are when you do). 3) Putting a cold compress on my forehead. 4) Getting as much sleep as I could. (naps work wonders) 5) Avoiding too much TV or computer (so hard considering I'm a Sofem addict!). 6) Taking a long soak in a warm bath. (it really hydrates your body).
They will ease off, in the next few weeks or so, I dont get them at all now. If it does got too much, go to your GP.
Good luck.

You could try those cool patch things you put on your forehead. You can get them in boots and they are safe to use in pregnancy. My friend used these as she got migraines and she said it helped a lot. Plus paracetemol at night.
They should stop as you progress through your pregnancy - hopefully soon. Cherry x (37+3)

Just to say I've started suffering with migraines and the only thing I can say is you just have to close the curtains and lie down in a darken room with a glass or glasses of water by you side and try to sleep it off. I found that if I took parras before I went off to sleep at night the migraines did ease as you are relaxing more in the night then when you are in the day. But one thing I did stop eating which has definately stopped some of my migraines was cheese, I love it to bits now I'm PG but was eating it everyday and I think sometimes it can have an effect on you so just watch what you eat may be theres something in that too. Hope that helped a bit Rachxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I too suffer from migranes - although I'm not pg lol...
Anyhoo, another natural methos that may help is a warm wheat bag placed around your neck & some lavender oil on a cloth or cotton wool & placed on the warm/hot radiator in your bedroom - it's cheaper than the ready made ones theat chemist's sell
