when i was expecting my son i had exactly the same craving!! i couldnt get enough of the smell of clean washing and would chew on flannels fresh out of the washing machine to the point where i made my mouth sore! it even carried on a few weeks after i had him. thought i was the only one!! x x x

"jazzyloudog" Thats the same find myself finding things to wash just so i can sniff it when its done!!!!!and chew on a flannal like you say till my mouth is sore its strange. Really want to know what may cause it will have to remember to ask midwife next time i see her. T.C Shelly xxxx

It's regression. All my kids have chewed flannels. Sponges too. I love ice just now and tho not strange cheese doritos are tasting fabulous at the moment.

the thought of that noise on my teeth sends shivers down my back! did make me giggle a lot though! my husband had a thing for bacon and banana sarnies when i was having my 1st * yes both on 2 slices of bread* ive never really craved anything strange going through a toast and honey stage at the mo tho

my sister chewed on new bathroom sponges when she was pregnant, she said it was the texture on her teeth she craved. I haven't really had anything major myself altho my husband craved raw garlic when i was in the first trimester!
