"I haveit too - wish i could get rid!" Posted by katetwin 31 May at 20:23
I have a massive bottle of gaviscon which cost me £8 after the dr's own brand stuff didn't work. Gaviscon doesn't seem to work either even though i keep swigging it from the bottle.
Anything i eat seems to make it worse not just spicy food. It's stopping me from sleeping as well even though i am propped up on pillows.
Sorry to rant but it's just constantly there..

"Great treatment for piles" Posted by annebones 30 May at 17:37
Hi, I used a great product called H-Care to treat Haemorrhoids. It is natural and they have also have these great soothing hygienic wipes.
The H-Care range is available at Hollands and Barrett and other good pharmacies.
I am sure this will help:>

"Ice cold milk..." Posted by louisey2 1 May at 22:00
Hi,
Try the milk (doesnt work for everyone though) I have a glass after my main meals and also if you can get them, Rennies (peppermint are good) they arent too chalky like some of the others that just stay in your mouth going round and round =+( I had indigestion after i had recovered from the morning sickness at the beginning of my pregnanacy and it has just come back again to say a farewell at the end....! As for reflux, just stay sitting upright for as long as you can and at night have loads of pillows to keep you propped up.....another weird thing is i found i had worse reflux feeling when i tried to lie down on my right hand side (probably to do with the position of the stomach)...well Biology lesson over, hope you find something that works....
Take care,

"They do rennie" Posted by gaelfish 31 May at 00:17
Hi Mrs Moo,
I was pregnant with my first child in Germany, and I know for sure they do sell Rennie in the Pharmacies. I used to always buy a monster pack, and that was my dessert - about 6 Rennies after every meal! The doc said they were harmless, and the calcium in them was good for the baby.
Guten Appetit und Viel Glueck! Siobhan
