Had it for about 4 days now, and it seems to be getting worse.
A friend was saying the other day, that how lucky I was to have dodged piles, heart burn and the indegestion.
It now seems I just have the two to tcik of the list....oh well never mind..Im a big girl I can cope with a bunch of grapes hanging out my back side...

or zantac is another form i have awful heartburn to the point im throwing up in my sleep * not v nice for my hubby* and these tiny tablets are a god send you can buy over the counter from practically anywhere they are totally safe during pregnancy only 2 tabs per day but if you time it right you can usually get away without any heartburn i can now have my orange juice that ive been craving so badly!

I have a massive bottle of gaviscon which cost me £8 after the dr's own brand stuff didn't work. Gaviscon doesn't seem to work either even though i keep swigging it from the bottle.

Anything i eat seems to make it worse not just spicy food. It's stopping me from sleeping as well even though i am propped up on pillows.

Sorry to rant but it's just constantly there..

i had this all thru and still am!! the acid never whent with gaviscon the dr gave me milk magnesiam and that still didnt do anything i find a cold class of milk works and settles it for a bit if i take that then my stuff from dr it keeps away for a few hours... i found weaterbix made it worse.

Hey Mrs! Sorry to hear your having a bad time with the heartburn and piles! Not sure what you can do about the piles, but the heartburn I would try some ice cream if you cant get your hands on Gaviscon. I dont think it matters what you eat the heartburn will come, but try to eat small amounts more frequently I have read that helps.

Good luck!! Sharon 22+3wk bump

Hi, I used a great product called H-Care to treat Haemorrhoids. It is natural and they have also have these great soothing hygienic wipes.

The H-Care range is available at Hollands and Barrett and other good pharmacies.

I am sure this will help:>

Hi,

Try the milk (doesnt work for everyone though) I have a glass after my main meals and also if you can get them, Rennies (peppermint are good) they arent too chalky like some of the others that just stay in your mouth going round and round =+(
I had indigestion after i had recovered from the morning sickness at the beginning of my pregnanacy and it has just come back again to say a farewell at the end....! As for reflux, just stay sitting upright for as long as you can and at night have loads of pillows to keep you propped up.....another weird thing is i found i had worse reflux feeling when i tried to lie down on my right hand side (probably to do with the position of the stomach)...well Biology lesson over, hope you find something that works....

Take care,

"They do rennie"
Posted by gaelfish 31 May  at  00:17

Hi Mrs Moo,

I was pregnant with my first child in Germany, and I know for sure they do sell Rennie in the Pharmacies. I used to always buy a monster pack, and that was my dessert - about 6 Rennies after every meal! The doc said they were harmless, and the calcium in them was good for the baby.

Guten Appetit und Viel Glueck!
