I'm 8 weeks and would like to wait until 12 to tell people, but my husband may have burst by then!
When did everyone else tell people?

there;s still people we havent told.
Due to pre MC's I didnt even tell my hubby, and then he didnt tell his folks till I had my 8wk check scan. I then didnt tell the rest of the family until I was 4 months, and even now there's only a selected few who know..how people havent cottoned on yet Ill never know...
You tell when you feel the urge..and congratulations...

At our first pregnancy we told everyone almost straight away then unfortunately we m/c'd at 6 wks. It was so embarrassing having to tell everyone it had gone wrong.
This time again we ended up telling some people at 6 wks as I was showing so much by then. I've been very weary and haven't talked about it unless people have asked if I'm pregnant.
It is personal to each person, but I would bear in mind at least how many people you tell initially and who you can trust to keep it a secret too.
Good luck with everything hun

to tell that you m/c'd, not your fault but I think I know what you mean, when it happened to us a few other folk felt embarassed by putting their foot in it and saying they had heard the good news, when they clearly hadnt heard the bad. The thing about telling early or not is, when things go wrong as they sometimes do you need support so what I've done since is make sure that those who i lean on have known earlier than the general public. I've been preg 7 times (2 m/c's) and the last time after telling close family etc I had a bit of fun waiting to see if anyone would have the courage to ask as I got bigger. Did the same this time and a few workmates asked each other but not me. They must of been wondering if it was the baby fat or a new baby and not wanting to upset me in case I had just been hitting biscuit tin.

I think we've decided to try and wait until 12 weeks.
To be honest it hasn't sunk in for me yet, seems so unreal even though we've been trying for a while.
Thanks for the advice
