Yes he works all day as do I when I'm not on mat leave so dog could stay in and eat our house. He must have pregnancy brain if he ever thot this would happen or he thinks I'm vulnerable at the mo and may have said yes. I said he's too be grateful for me bearing his offspring and a dog is for retirement days. In a few weeks there will be 2 babies under 1 year, 5 year old and 2 teenagers in our house. The stupid koi carp are all the pets he's gonna see.

Lets see how long he lasts without rinky dinky. Not as long as me, thats for sure xx

Whole thread for the following message:

Now he says he'll have it done if I let him get a dog!!!! Needless to say I've opted for the no sex option. (ps, he's nearly 40 not 17 as you may think)

When I try to talk, he says 'there's now way anyone's cutting his knob up'. This makes it difficult to turn it into a mature discussion.
Then he'll say stupid things like I can take the pill, implant etc. After taking these things for more than 20 years, I think it's time for me to stop and time for him to take some responsibility in preventing more 'surprises'.
Who's goiny win?

"Play the hormone card!"

Jen my friend got her husband to get the snip cause she just couldnt cope with another child, both financially or mentally! She had depression after her last child and the thought of sterilisation and the upset to her hormones yet again swayed the decision for him! She told him she would have been a basket case, that the procedure would send her hormones completely crazy and then how was he going to cope with her and the kids! Thought it was rather good! Stick to your guns girl!lol Good luck! Sharon 23+3wk pink bump xx

Thats the sort of thing my OH would come out with, now who would be looking after the dog? No doubt he works all day long?!
That's my argument with my OH, he wants a big dog, that I'd have to walk, feed and think about before going anywhere or doing anything, then with a baby, tell him NO! lol.
